Our first official ice report of the season has been a long time coming.  We are open for the season as of today.  Serving full menu breakfast, lunch, and dinner!  However, our ice road remains closed, but we have some good news!  We HOPE to have our plowed ice road open by Friday, December 9th, in the afternoon.  Our guides will be extremely busy the next couple days checking ice, grooming and staking a trail, flooding the island, breaking through piled up ice, the list goes on and on.  Our ice road would only go out 1/2 – 3/4 of a mile only — the end of the road will also be marked with a RED house, it will be VERY important that you DO NOT go past the RED MARKER HOUSE.  We have roughly 10″-12″ of ice on our ice road (once again these are areas that we have checked) and 10″ of snow coverage.  We cannot stress enough the dangers of veering from our marked trail.  Once our road is open, we will ONLY be allowing ATVs, side-by-sides, and snowmobiles hauling portables.

** Once again, we HOPE to have our ice road open on Friday, December 9th.  Plans above are subject to change. **
